It’s difficult to switch gears from parenting a child to a teen and again to parenting a young adult. Your once happy child whom you felt connected to, now seems like a stranger locked in their room, only giving you one word answers or grunts when you try to engage with them. Then your teen becomes a young adult and is either going off to college or staying at home to figure out their next steps and you’re just not sure how to support them moving forward in life.
They have you questioning every decision you make and are masters at making you feel guilty and unreasonable. You and your partner or co-parent are seemingly on the opposite end of the spectrum, one of you is always the bad guy and the other seems way too flexible.
During Parent Coaching, we will discuss how to simplify home boundaries so that you can be consistent and generate peace in your home. We will work on the co-parenting relationship and get the whole parenting team on the same page, creating a united front.
What feels like Mt. Everest will quickly become a walk in the park in less time than you think!
“What’s normal?” Is the question I most often hear from parents…

“Raising children who are hopeful and who have the courage to be vulnerable means stepping back and letting them experience disappointment, deal with conflict, learn how to assert themselves, and have the opportunity to fail. If we’re always following our children into the arena, hushing the critics, and assuring their victory, they’ll never learn that they have the ability to dare greatly on their own.” -Brene Brown .
