Solution-Focused Therapy & Coaching for Families & Teens

Allie Haydon

Why I Do This Work

I once was that teen: struggling, misunderstood, trying to figure out who I was. And when I look back, what I needed most was someone who believed in me—not someone who tried to fix me. Now, as a therapist, I get to be that person for others. I help teens, young adults, and families move forward with curiosity, compassion, and a focus on what’s possible now.

I know how overwhelming it can feel to navigate anxiety, ADHD, depression, relationship stress, substance use, identity questions, or major life transitions. Many of the clients I work with feel stuck between who they’ve been and who they want to become. Some are overwhelmed young adults trying to build confidence and direction. Others are parents who want to support their child but feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next.

My goal is to create a space where people feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, practical, and human. Whether we are working on emotional regulation, self-esteem, communication skills, parenting challenges, or healthier coping strategies, I want therapy to feel like a place where real change can happen.

My Philosophy & Approach

Small change creates big change. You don’t have to wait for transformation — you can begin now.

I use a solution-focused and relational approach to therapy, helping clients identify strengths, build momentum, and create meaningful change that aligns with their values. While we may explore the past when it’s helpful, therapy with me is focused on helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I work with teens and young adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, relationship issues, self-esteem struggles, and identity development. I also provide parent coaching and family therapy to help families improve communication, repair connection, and create healthier patterns together.

I believe one person can shift the dynamic of a relationship or system — including you.
